shorty update. my right eyebrow is twitching.

work at my workplace is rather chillax in some way, i don't see my collegues every single day, like today, most of them are out. this makes me miss conducting classes cause i can see all the younger people. beats hanging out with the older/ married peps in the office while i try my best to finish my work and surf facebook, reply emails and what not.

we had a mini gathering at Adi and Luz's hse on sunday, was quite fun eating malay food then having wii times and F1 at the same time. Re and the others were addicted to Hafiz Koh the presenter for Singapore's F1. met an ex colleague's bf who is a photographer that lent me his super PRO Nikon SLRs to fiddle with, the feeling of holding 3kg of thousand of dollars i felt the stress. no photos from my camera though. maybe only 2.

played dumb and dumber games, laughed and headed home at 1130 all because Re wanted to play street fighter. but he was rather sweet, to prove that he'll wake up at 7am the next morning, he sent me a sms at 7am. haha. thought he was joking. that lucky dude doesn't need to work everyday.

its been 3 weeks since work has started. awesome because pay day is tmr. kids are starting to piss me off big time, yet they endear me sometimes. what an irony.

okay. i'm off to read and then to the library. i miss reading. and i miss perth more. shopping comes when the moolas come.

facebook seems to open doors to people's lives. i've found out that way too many of my friends are getting/ have gotten married, i missed my graduation ceremony for the one person that i was tempted to give everything up for. YES HOCK ANG!! its all your bloody fault that i skipped my graduation for you. to go to Brisbane to attend your bloody ceremony. how gross is this.

anyway, the lovelies are coming over to my place tmr to munch, watch(movies) and play (wii). i just realised that the last photo i took was freaking ages ago. hai. my camera should come out of its lovely pouch soon. or maybe the fad is over. or maybe it will come back like fashion. hmm.

work has been good to me. boss says he is impressed (for now, complacency won't help). but the worse thing was when he sent me back to the east, he started evangelising to me. OMG. i was STUCK in the car, with MY BOSS, trying to make me consider going back to church. nvm about that, religion is an opinionated matter that evokes alot of emotions.

anyway, senget & friends and min came over to work on Monday, didn't have much time to talk to them because i had to teach that day and I had to stick around with the main trainers to calm my nerves. my first official class, teaching water rockets in a secondary school, with my boss as my assistant. Glam! and i made it through. can't wait for tmr and Monday. i really need a break, but i've gotta finish up some more work before Tuesday, teaching again.

should meet up with my uni peeps soon. haven't seen them in ages. AGES.

I've officially started work for slightly more than 1 week. and i can tell you, its freaking tough, but as sadistic as it sounds, i'm actually enjoying it. boss says i have to have a super steep learning curve and i'm really experiencing it now.

I'm the marketing executive and curriculum trainer for a small company that conducts science and math enrichment courses for primary, secondary and JCs. And it seems i've been working forever, because i have to understand things as fast as you snap a finger. Boss asks me to re brand the company, do all the marketing stuff, redo the website and brochure for newest products, attend sales presentations. And i have to teach in classes when there insufficient trainers and assist when there are classes, organise and pack logistics for the classes. yes that IS my extended job scope.

so thats keeping me real busy. but it cool. and guess what? i'm conducting a class tmr. at a neighbourhood secondary school. called senget (and friends) and min to come help part time. 3 hours, i might just die there, but i'm reading notes and preparing cause they will only give me the slides tmr. yes, just before class. haha.

i think when we treat a challenge as a task we are slowly climbing the mountain, only when we reach the top and look down, then you'll realise how much you have accomplished.

and its my second weekend at home. i really miss having hock around. my personal life seems to have nothing much because everyone is so busy with their partners now. makes me feel double the loneliness.

can anyone understand what i'm doing through? can anyone see that i'm really trying my best not to break down and cry because sometimes it feels so tiring. smile and laugh around people when deep down you feel so empty.

well, i've been really busy with work lately. though i've only started work like 2 days, i'm feeling so much of it already.

i'm like 1 person marketing department. and my boss says i have LOTS OF POTENTIAL, and i'm like doing everything. its really so different from studying. when you study, all you know is that it leads to grades. this time it causes profit and losses. and i have absolutely no one to discuss work with. so its just me me me and me. and my boss wants me to redo the whole company website. THE WHOLE THING. can you imagine how much money he is saving already. and he thinks i'm some IT whiz kid who knows way too much. in addition, i have to plan curriculum and teach classes for science enrichment courses. i asked for a job that i could use my both degrees and i was given it.

but i guess this is part of working life. challenges all around. and he wants me to learn driving too, so i can drive the company van. also, my colleague is deaf, so i'm intending to do a course on sign language.

i think i'm going to be so busy.

lately has been not too bad. caught 2 movies. Diary of a Sex Addict with marcus and Bruno with Tx, grace and marcus. thanks to marcus who came to work to pick me while i was carrying my bloody lap top. both movies were like R21, which they kept checking my IC. and the guy's reactions to the gay scenes in Bruno were super duper funny. they were like seriously traumatised and grossed out. I actually liked the Diary of a Sex Addict, though there were like way too many sex scenes, i actually liked the story line.

blogger hasn't been working for a long time, so i've been contemplating to change to wordpress. kirke helped me with brainstorming the URL so once its up and running i'll go over to wordpress. i'm sick of the nonsense blogger has been up to.

anyway. my birthday is in 3 days or more like 2 days. but so what? so what to the day i was born. there doesn't seem to be much celebration, or maybe i can't be bothered so the people around me are laissez faire about it.

but really, this birthday reminds me of so many sad things that it its painful to even think of. it reminds me of perth, the people there, my last birthday when kirke and rob jammed their basses to sing me a song, the limo and the party. it reminds me of all my awesome friends (and Hock) that are not in Singapore. it reminds me what i've given up. and it reminds me of people that are too caught up with everything else. maybe its just me feeling unimportant and unloved. maybe its just supposed to be like this when you get old. when all the people around you start to have jobs and families and then everything else seems so unimportant. there isn't a blame to push around. because this is life.

will i be like this in time to come? when the great 22 comes?? it seems like i'm still young. it seems that is.

i feel like going out for a drink now.

why? because hock called me and the phone number was? twelve eights.bizarre!!!! was damn freaked out to answer the phone (though the 7th month isn't here YET!) ah, why why why did they invent the 7th month. WHY!??

talking about hock ang teo. i really feel life is getting so difficult without him. day by day. but i guess we will/ must get by it. another 4 more months.

anyway, it was my beloved janelle's birthday yesterday and we celebrated for her. at home. which was really fun. i guess it beats going out sometimes. though we slogged to make dinner and played with her niece judith.
and grace actually cooked. GRACE COOKING. with ting xuan and i watching over her like eagles. haha.
and the food was actually not bad! wontons (fried and boiled), cold tofu, sweet and sour fish, stir fried greens with mushrooms and pork with sze chuan veg. dessert: honeydew sago.. we were super duper full.
then we just cam whored and played with judith. ahaha. she is such a cutie. now i realise how fast time has passed, how fast kids grow up, how we seem to have forgotten alot of things that we have taken for granted. relationships are a funny thing. everyone views them differently, which is good and bad in a way. was happy that bitch ryan could make it, though he is super busy working and filming for his interview.

Hello blog.

this stupid blogger hasn't been well at all. finally its working.

shall add some photos from my meet up with marcus and my dearest azzah. went to the singapore crocodile farm. which was filled with sad looking evil crocs. which i seriously can't differentiate under the blistering sun.
some were awesomely big and some were following me with their eyes.

then we headed to watch GI JOE. omg, lee byung hun is lovely HOTNESS!! and the movie was really enjoyable though we had front row seats. a tad of humour, a tad of seriousness (save the world nonsense), a tad of hotness with my korean God topless. and awesome company.

next was dinner and esplanade to chill at the outdoor theatre to watch bands sing, some dudes sand some really nice oldies.
and we were planning to go prawning, but it was late.
