i'm listening to my Marketing Research and Analysis lecture online, and my lecturer just said:

"we cannot conduct Internet surveys in countries such as India, Malaysia and Singapore because their isn't enough people online."

WHAT THE HELL??!!

like almost the whole country is wireless. okay, on the contrary maybe Singaporeans as usual are never keen on doing free stuff but only getting free stuff. Or maybe we are just too small to be considered a full population as compared to Australia.

i'm insulted, just because we are right smack in the middle of developing countries it doesn't mean we are the same. though Australia is a wonderful place, i Love Singapore.

okay, back to the studies. *dream dream dream..~
i finally met steph for coffee today, mum will be so happy. haha. and she was talking about her psych masters.

in her textbook it says that: to some degree all of us are depressed.

ah, i can feel that totally setting in now with all the blogs i'm reading now.

well, its another 3 weeks till i get back. 3 weeks to my great financial depression, to be honest, its going to be damn hard to get a job back home. met my ex colleague today, and i heard that tons of labs in IMCB have closed down, and they are not accepting anymore interns. WTH man.

so, its not going to be easy, i've still gotta find a job anyway.

but today was awesome, first with us going grocery shopping and us talking about this common guy that hit on jules and ALSO said that will has nice legs.

jules asked will:" wow, so willie what does that say of both of us?"
will:" i'm skinny and you are fat"

AHAHHAHAHAHAH. bang-ed jules..

our weekly harry potter turned sexual (lupin with harry) OMG. it was the funniest shit.
"you are as good as your father"
"it was the first time i rode a broom"
"just close your eyes.. relax.. and bend over- added by alex"

okay, we are such terrible asses, but it was a good laugh, it was great to have my flatmates all sit down. not all but at least 4 and have everyone watch a show together.

janice. its crunch time. have faith.

i've gotten too used to the drama that relates to Jon losing stuff. yesterday, he lost his car.

YES. HIS CAR! thank god it was some old rickety car that was on loan from the workshop. our careless boy left the keys hanging on the door. can't blame him either cause he is too used to remote locks, ah well.

we just came out from the gym and ................. it was gone, with the wind.

Jon freaked out. weirdly it had no effect on me, i just looked at him and settled him down, made him call the workshop and the cops. and walked around the car park and waited for his friends to come pick us up.

jon jon... the things you lose just get bigger and bigger. from gym card, phone, wallet. TO CAR?! oh well.

and he made dinner for us, i helped!
awesome food, its better than him moping at home that the car got stolen. feel quite worried for him sometimes.

finally school for semester 3 of my uni life is almost over. this sem was really really fast. 3 more weeks i'll be home.

hock is really excited. haha. he asked me if i wanted him to pick me up at the airport or meet me straight at home? is there enough space in the car for my family and him and my luggage? if he meets me at home do i have enough time to unpack and shower.. and we can go out after dinner.. as if i'll be back tmr..

sorry baby. another 3 weeks. i miss you too. you always know how to make me smile

i forgot to take a picture of joker (my onion), its really growing well!!
i was bored, playing around with my camera. technology scares me.

janice. off to the gym again. run fat girl run.

when you are sad, you should try laughing at every single thing in the world.

plant an onion. name it JOKER.
well alex and i tried to use all the first initials of everyone in the flat.
kirke.rob.min.alex.nurzhat.jennie.janice.colin.

we ended up with stuff like:
kranjmc
jackrm
jckman

so i called my onion JOKER, because it lays in peace under the soil. i know its relatively crude.

lose your eyes and smile at yourself.

everything is going to be alright.

laughing makes all the problems go away. really? or does it just numb everything for a split second?

janice. i'm such an irony.

i just love reading my babes' emails. they always brighten my day.

its been a terrible day, i just overslept for my class, so i missed BOTH classes today! wth. arrgh. morning class at 930 was replaced by me cleaning the kitchen. (i woke up at 815 to clean).. but i guess i'm a slow coach.

had project meeting half asleep, but i'm glad we managed to sort everything out. and tmr's presentation is going to be thrilling. haha.

came home for lunch, did some work, napped. i remember turning on my alarm at 4pm for my class at 530. i never rang. i think i have the tendency to turn it off when i'm asleep and i can never remember that. so by the time i sprang up from my bed, it was 6pm. what a twit. so now i have to do ilecture. thank God its just exam format and stuff.

i cannot believe myself.

on a much happier note. joo ji hoon is acting in a new movie called Antique Bakery. wahhaa.. awesome shits! and it has like gay overtones. its basically about 4 guys in a bakery adapted from a Japanese manga. i'm not going to post the synopsis here, because to be truthful i'm going to watch it for him. and grace is watching it with me. hahha..

hock is so happy too, because he is off the hook to watch it with me, i never intended for him to watch it man. even he agrees that he is slightly homophobic with gay men. go asking him to sit down for a 90 min comedy with gay men. ahh.. too hard a job to call.
Joo ji hoon drives a SLK in the opening scene man! he is a lucky dude, car sponsors love to sponsor his shows, in Mawang he drove an Audi, in Goong he drove a Volkswagen.

janice.. looks interesting hey?

maybe i've learnt to be able to filter feelings out, i have no idea how to phrase this.. just a random thought. it seems that somethings are not affecting me the way it used to be, or maybe i'm just becoming more stone cold.

anyway, over the weird emotional feelings, i'm supposed to be studying a bit, my body has finally adjusted to the day light savings. and i have the urge to run, but its too hot outside, and my legs are still aching from the gym.

min uploaded the pictures yesterday. quote her:
min: can i please upload the pictures please jan?
me: ok??
min: i just realised that all my pictures on facebook are clubbing and drunk
me and jules: AHAHHAA.. you need a balance.

and that twit that said: i won't go clubbing till the end of exams, went clubbing last night. min min min...

photos from the Harry Potter Halloween Night (self created).. super hotsZ photo of Alex Wilson.
wah. totally model!
and this totally ruins it. haha. jules trying super hard not to laugh.

yesterday, the "chee musketeers" went to the city together, it was really quite long since three of us went out together, it will be really sad when jules leaves.
the northbridge festival, jules was writing a short article for a local mag, and she had to cover it, I was her impromptu photographer for the day.
and guess what i saw?? haha.. though its slightly different from Rowdees. but it was a pleasant surprise.
all the shops we went to and some arty farty dude raising his voice politely at me to ask for permission before taking photos.
min in the future.

street performers. and random people.
that was the end of our day.. jules spent a shit load of money on budget shopping. it was nice having lunch with jules and talking about the most random things, walking around city under the hot sun with the babes that are always there for me.

its another 28 days till i fly home, each semester seems to be flying past so fast. and hubby took 5 days off for me so from the 30th nov to 5th dec we'll have alot of time to spend together. i'm really lucky to have someone so understanding.

janice.. study time. perth on the contrary is a Happenings Place!

i seriously cannot imagine how childish some people are, but i'll leave it as that because i'm not going to stoop to her level and start name calling. seriously? over a birthday present. yes.

whatever.

on a lighter note, my finances are dwindling like no one's business. i guess necessity will become a motivation, if i wanna be able to pay for my holiday end of next sem seriously need to work man. being whiny doesn't seem to help me anymore.

last night which was Halloween, as usual none of us attempted to dress up except jules who was imagining she was enrolled in Hogwatts, brandishing her aluminium foil wand (sponsored by rob) and riding my flat's mop with 'tiu tiu' sound effects, and played mahjong. *pictures up in FB soon.

and we ended the night watching Austin Powers??!!! OMG, its the most dumb shit show, but it was a good laugh, none of us imagined paying 10 bucks to watch that in the movies, but the cast line up was just way too many to count with your appendages.

by the end of last night I was exhausted. after spending half a day looking at SPSS and inputting numbers into the program from our 100 odd surveys. made min and I see stars, literally. we had problems reading numbers by the end. Our brains, eyes, mouth and hands didn't seem to coordinate and work in synchrony.

and i better start studying for my exams and tests. my mediocre grades are freaking the shit out of me.

janice. too late, too dead.

day light savings seems to be screwing my body clock up, or maybe i'm just reading into it so much that I only eat lunch at 3pm and at 9pm i'm not hungry for dinner.

weird that 1 hour of change can make so much difference.

another 1 more month i'll be back to Singapore. all this adjusting to this and that just makes me feel so edgy at times. i always feel that same when i step out of the airport, i look at the trees along the expressway, and the look so different to ones i've been looking at for the past 4 months.

oh well.

gotta get back to doing marketing research project. thanks everyone who did our sucky survey for us, but thats the process of learning- trying; getting remarks smashed into your face; and doing it better the next time.

janice. its such a windy day, please blow all my troubles away. really can't wait to hug you.

I've been busy these days indulging in my korean drama- Mawang (魔王)/ The Devil/ The Lucifer.

YES! i've finally finished watching all 20 hours of it, the ending was just mind blowing. and joo jihoon's acting has definitely improved since goong.

just a gist of the story:
Its begins 12 years back in time when a group of boys famed for being trouble makers and bullies in high school accidentally stab and murdering one of their school mates (Tae Hoon) who was warning them to stop all their bullying to Young Chul. and they flee with young chul secretly watching from the back.

a young girl (Hae In), happens to pick up a basketball left from the scene and finds out she has psychometric powers as she is able to see snap shots of the whole incident. she becomes the prime witness.

the group of guys with leader Oh Soo who has a famous politician father manage to go free with the help of their family lawyer Kang. Tae Hoon's mother dies within months due to depression and throws herself in front of a truck. His younger brother Tae Seung filled with hate and revenge leaves home (or whatever is left of it) and finds a friend Seung Ha who is an orphan and has a blind sister, and they leave together. In an accident, he dies after being run over by a bus, his body being unrecognisable, Tae Seung exchanges his identity with him. Finds his blind sister and passes his lawyer bar exams without proper schooling at age 25.

He appears to everyone has a very gentle man, staunch Christian who volunteers at the church and reads to the children.

He begins plotting his revenge on all the people involved, by observing the people around, the clever use of tarot cards and parcels, he carries out his murders with the 'help' of others and give them the weapons and chances to commit their murders. Then comes into light as a lawyer to acquit them for free due to insufficient evidence that they plotted the murder.

the new Seung ha, finds a thin line between good and evil. with reference to faust (protagonist of a classic German legend in which he makes a pact with the Devil in exchange for knowledge), Lucifer (once God's right hand angels- now Satan), he slowly sends Oh Soo (now a detective) clues in the form of tarot cards (hand drawn by Hae In sold in her friend's tarot shop), pictures and letters.

Oh Soo's chief that knows the officer in charge (who has now resigned due to guilt that Tae Hoon
was wrongfully killed- now working under Seung Ha's law office) of the case 12 years back, asks his help to contact Hae In to use her psychometric powers.

As their fate becomes intertwined, Hae In and Seung Ha fall in love, but he knows that he cannot let her find out his dark secret by her psychometric powers. slowly one by one his victims die, and Hae In starts to find out that he is Tae Seung. She begs him to stop, but its too late as his partner in crime Young Chul does not want to stop till Oh Soo is left with nothing.

in the end. the ends where it all begins.

Joo Ji Hoon acts at Seung Ha, seriously HOT in the show. Though his acting at the start was a bit weird, especially his evil grin- his eyes were like dead. But the last episode was awesome, his acting has seriously improved *claps! The rest of the main cast was also awesome, the extended cast was a little bad- a bit too cheesy.
But Ji Hoon made it all up!! wahahha. and his suits in the show was superb, they all fit so well.

okay, but the quality I bought was pirated, so hubby says he'll buy the original back home and i'll watch it when i get back with proper subtitles and better quality. But the soundtrack fit the show to a T. sometimes i wonder how the actors are able to convey the feelings without the music. hmm.

janice. now its time to turn my focus to my marketing research report.

HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY HUBBY!
the funny thing about our relationship has been that we've never celebrated our birthdays 2 years in a row together. and now we are going to make that 3. but, no matter what i find myself really bliss.

the simple things in life that we often take for granted.

though you feel so lonely,
so upset to send me off,
you always smile,
hide your fears to make me feel so much better.
you never forget to put me before you.

i close my eyes
imagine you are right before me.
i will remember your face
your wave goodbye

"how can i be forgotten on your birthday?" has become a ringing sound every 28 august and 24 october.

you'll be attending your AX7 concert and i'll be here playing mahjong and watching harry potter, you deserve a wonderful birthday.

janice the cheeky. hmm.. 36 more days
