i just finished one part of my marketing development plan. and my gastric struck me again, what the hell is seriously wrong with my body. but its gone again. hmm.

I've really got so much work to do, and I've also selected my schedule for the Murdoch Uni Ambassador program too. I'm really excited because I'll get to go to expos, meet people and talk to kids and parents. well, I've lost touch since band and i would like to do something before i leave Perth.

well, I've only had time to blog at like 2am. ahhaa. anyway while i get older, i feel that blogging is losing its purpose for me, but its a good way to archive my memories. though it gets pilfered by the public.

Pictures from Buddha's Birthday:

I'm an agnostic believer steered towards Christianity, and i feel that no matter what we should enjoy and respect all forms of religion and gods or deities. and i hate those believers that keep telling me that I'll burn in hell. God is really gracious, so stop being such an irony. oh well.
it was really interesting learning about how Buddha survived on ONE GRAIN OF BARLEY for 12 YEARS. NOT FUNNY! i don't even think i will be able to survive with 10 barleys a day. thats why i have yet to attain enlightenment and thats why I'm not skinny.
dream of me crying my eyes out when i leave we all look damn weird in this picture. oh well. glad i could spend some time with shalini. the funniest thing is that we were never this close when we stayed together. and i think hanisha'sPerth will come true. to think that 2 years have flew past and this semester is the most fun filled ever.

ok i shall stop ranting about leaving Perth!

so after walking around the supreme court gardens and kirke being afraid of the happy Buddha, we headed for dinner.
saw the Perth eye. at night. which is much smaller than Singapore's. we love to be no 1, no deny about that.

stopped at Poppo's for dinner.
headed back for fireworks
I'm going for a footy match tmr with the housemates, we have free tickets from Murdoch International. and i think its going to be really interesting. then i have to mug again. more reports, presentations and essays.

i don't think I'll ever find anyone that understands me as much as you.

janice. its quite funny how things can turn out.

Today is a gloomy day, weather in Perth is just so irregular. winter is coming.

finally caught up with my rest debt, and I'm starting to study again, its not really a study break, more of a "catch-up" week, so many projects, essays, presentations to handle.

i was looking through fb, and OMG, so many of my ex classmates or people i know are married with kids. shot gun or not, its a shock to me to some extent. some believe that 21 is the passage to adulthood. but its all coming a bit fast right? i cannot imagine myself married with kids now, not that its a burden, but i would have lost out so much, both ways.

and to the one who's favourite colour is this. you know that no matter what happens we'll be here. i believe there is still room for things to work out. don't fret!

was looking through my sent box, and I've realised way too many people have asked me info on studying in Australia. and its not nice at all, when i realise I'm leaving and everyone is coming here. well, on the contrary, if i came here knowing tons of people, i would have limited my friends to that few, i would never have made friends. i would never have met all these people that make my day everyday.

i feel like cuddling up in my bed, thinking how nice it would be to have hock study with me. how nice if i could see him every single day (till i get sick of him. haha) but financially, its not possible. i don't want to burden my parents anymore, its really time my mum retires, though she never says it. i know she is tired of working, she wants to have time to do painting and things she likes to do.

so its time to suck in, brace working life and enjoy whatever time left i have in western Australia, Perth, Murdoch University, flat 2.

some day i'll come to enjoy working life too.

janice. all good things come to an end. to allow a beginning for better things.

finally managed to upload the easter egg video.

janice. look at them go!
I was wondering what FML meant when jules blogged it. so i googled it. and its hysterical. suddenly i feel that my life isn't that bad at all.

photos from all the stuff I've been doing is up.

the trip to the Pinnacles and Sand dunes in Lancelin. not sure if you can see the pictures on fb because wins uploaded them. but you can see the video of me sliding down the slope and disappearing into a puff of sand tumbling down the slope. very glamorous indeed.
i love the view(s) that Australia has. seriously i will miss this place like hell. also because of the super nice people around. when we were entering the road to the entrance of the pinnacles, some driver stuck his hand out with a piece of paper, wondering what it was we stopped, he passed us a day pass for the desert. and we passed it on when we came out.
day trip on the roads to the Pinnacles desert to see the natural rock formations. they are like thousands of years old. and while posing for one photo, min toppled one of the rocks. HAHAHAHA. and the lady taking the photo for us commented you managed to push over a thousand year old rock. min is one strong woman!
i took these photos, and i think they look really nice, my favourite ones are on the bottom row with hanisha and min.

then we went sand boarding. to admit i was really apprehensive because I'm damn lousy at all these stuff which require a sports gene, which mine is obviously faultly as i can get 55 points from bowling, -5 points for laserquest. and I'm just plain not adventurous at stuff like that.
but it was super funnn! and god tiring. climbing up the dunes was worse that 30 mins at the gym. my small feet kept sinking into the sand knee deep, until i had to crawl my way up that fine sand.

and it didn't help that my balance was so bad that when i went down, I'll tumble straight into the sand, in the most unglamorous way, till the people at the top (including strangers) were asking if i was ok. wins was an awesome teacher, though it was her first time doing sand boarding ( the standing up version) she was awesome!

and when we went to return the boards, each board was $10 (we rented 3) and a $50 deposit for each. we paid $180. But since one of the boards was faulty, the cashier gave us a refund. she gave us $170. so we only paid $10 for 3 boards.

and after that we had viet dinner in the city. which was the end of a rewarding day! Thanks to wins for organising and driving!

after that i woke up in the early morning to hide the Easter eggs for our flat, its actually the first time i did something for easter.
and i hid them all over the place, 12 large eggs and 47 small eggs. and these greedy pigs were ready at 850 am and ran out at 9am. the supposed end time was like 5pm, but by 930 mostly all were found.
but that was not after they tore the house apart.
and alex won. after managing to run for the last egg. it was a tie for 69 points between alex, emma, min, and hanisha. But after i ran a list of all the hiding places.... 2 eggs in alex's meegoreng box....
*pause
alex: there were TWO? we only found 1.
*min and alex jumps up. looks at each other. both run for it.
*alex pours out the whole box of mee goreng and finds its before min. fastest fingers first.

so he wins with 75 points! and a free lunch from emma. hope everyone had fun!

because her uncle owns adventure world and thanks to min for asking. WE GOT FREE ENTRANCE. and went with alex and emma.
we went down the water slides. and after sand dunes. i had to climb more stairs up to take the rides down. OMG. my knees were shaking at the 5th climb. but some of the rides were really not worth the wait.
then we went for the chill out rides and rail rider and chair lift then the Aussie wildlife experience.

janice. this weekend has just been awesome~ hooya

sometimes no matter how hard you play your cards, you'll always be considered an "out group".

Ian (my lecturer) was talking about in- groups and out- groups, about how people unconsciously categorise people into in and out groups. eg: when you are grouped in teams, it is automatically assumed that people 'outside' your group are enemies. are contenders to the 'prize'. or when you have sport teams you support.

oh well. i guess i have to be used to be the out-group sometimes or most of the time.

why am i trying to talk sense in a group of insane delirious people?

you can reach sky high and hell low in one day. yes you can.

janice. i can get used to being alone, some people will 'win' even without trying.

battered bruised bonkers .

i'm back from sand boarding at the sand dunes in lancelin. OMG, it was beautiful. but it was way too tiring. climbing up the dune of fine sand with a steep slope was seriously exhausting, my legs were sinking knee deep, so for 10 seconds down the slope, i took 10mins climbing up.

pictures soon. we have like 200 pictures and videos, including one of me crashing face down into the sand and eating sand.

janice. i love to be clean, this was just full of adrenaline RUUUSSSSHHHH!
i'm am so so tired.

i slept at 1am to study for my test today.

woke up at 7 to revise.

had my test at 1130 till 1245.

bought groceries at 1pm.

rushed back just in time for class at 330pm. thanks to kirke and hanisha who carried all my stuff back to the flat!

finished class at 430pm.

went to gym at 5pm.

came home at 630pm.

cooked dinner and made sushi for lunch and sandwiches for breakfast cause we have the day trip tmr morning.

finished washing up the dished, called hock at 1015pm.

showered at 1030pm.

watched Marley and Me with min and wins till 1245am.

checking my mail at 1am.

janice. waking up at 530am.

I just feel like punching myself in the head.

why?

because my results are always the worse. always the WORSE. i can answer questions that min poses to me, but i always do so bad. WHAT IS THE F*CKING PROBLEM WITH ME?

i can never score as well. exams, mid sems, quizzes. no matter how hard i try. 4 final year units is really taking its toll on me.

maybe its because i always try too hard. organise things for others, get stressed too easily.

maybe there is something wrong with my mental models, the way i organise my thoughs.

janice. its all my fault.

i wanted to upload the pictures of Peter and Elliot doing their Doritos sketch in bush court (ie the center of uni), but they edited their video really fast.

so here it is. their videos are full of nonsense, but they are seriously the people that dare to act! support them by viewing and or subscribing to their videos!

janice. its totally worth an awesome laugh.

Well, now i know people do use the internet to search themselves. and nicely enough it was my lecturer and he read about me complaining about him. yeah. seriously he was such a terrible person in the first unit i took with him. now he is so nice. so does that mean i was wrong to type whatever i typed? maybe yes and maybe no.

but whats done can't be undone. whats happened is already the past. as long as i do my work he can't fault me for that. unless he is being bloody hell biased. but now i know that whatever i type will come back one day.

maybe the conventional diaries are still the key.

janice. goodbye privacy.
I just heard the most terrible news from Kirke
Kevin Rudd (aust prime minister) was shot. and died. oh man. just when i thought he was so much better than John Howard.

janice. Rest in peace.

yeah right. if kirke thought i'll fall for his trick.
APRIL FOOLS!

anyway i was reading the news and there is this website called Lovers and Lobbers. which the writer and photographer publishes about people doing pills and having sex and in compromising positions in the Perth night scene.

janice. HEH HEH HEH.
