I TELL YOU.. AUSTRALIA'S ADMIN SYSTEM IS DAMN FUCKING SLOW...

anyway.. let me first explain WHY i have NO INTERNET and NO PHONE till TODAY!!!

1. i bought my prepaid phone card on saturday (28th july) and they need 2 WORKDAYS to process it... (sg only needs 10 mins!!!!)
2. for my internet on the other hand..
3. i would first need to choose my units (everything here is DIY from choosing the subjects to planning your own time table and orientation and etc) and since i have advance standing.. i had to go for my course advice session first.. which was today..
4. then i need to do my student card
5. and i need to put value into the card
6. next i need to download some gateway to allow me to use the internet
7. then i pay as i use the internet!!

so quickly.. i'll update... with pics.. ahaha

the plane and my tons of luggage.. everything here is expensive... and i sat business class!!! thanks to my uncle.. ahaha it was cool!!

after arriving at aussie... we checked into the resort first.. its a river resort... so the balcony of the 'house' sits over the lake.. and there are wild ducks every morning!!! so nice to feedhere you go.. but its a bit blur because of the meshing.... its cold here... and very wet!!! it rains for 10 mins and stops... and to keep warm.. they use REAL FIRE WOOD!!! DAMN FUN

then in sunday i moved into my village flat... clockwise from top left: my wardrobe.. my table and bed... the kitchen and the view outside my window... its quite nice here.. i wanna stay here all the 2 years plus... there are parrots and tons of nice birds here.. and the crows (ravens) are BIG they look like black chickens and they crow like dying sheep... haha

and i have 1 china roomie.. her name is lucky.. i have yet to see her yet.. and 3 flat mates till now.. connie for austria (damn pretty.. i will take a photo of her!!! for darling's buddy.. ahah..)... shalini from sydney... and a cheryl from singapore (no sign of her too)... yup...

everything here is good... i'm learning to be damn independent.. and thanks to sister's friend sharon.. i'm settling in so well... i'll cook for her one day.. my bed with darling's shirt... i sleep with it everyday.. i miss him.. he said he'll try to save money to come over to visit me for a few days... smiles.. and his bunk mates were the cutest.. when he called me before my checked in.. they sang for me!!! so cute.. and when i called used the international calling card i talked to one of them.. lin hao.. (i think... ).. and he said i have a sweet voice.. aww... they are all so nice.. lend darling their phones.. do the area cleaning for him while he talks to me.. sing as background music.. (if they ever read this.. THANK YOU!!) these are the LTs.. i've gotten quite used to the angmohs.. ahaha.. and i'm settling in good!!! and i've made 3 singaporean friends and 1 malaysian... all very nice... haha

my orientation is done for me (i only attend the impt stuff)

so i'm going to stay at the resort with my parents till friday... and then i'm on my own..

my last free night in My Homeland was spent with my pals from IMCB.. it was sad that we were so many people short.. darling (BMT confinement)... chuan chen (osc confinement).. lilies (who had to baby sit her sister.. haha)... kenny.. but it was just great to meet them before i leave.. my sista sindhu.. and her bf patrick (friendly nice guy).. jian feng "kor kor" (lab joke).. steven.. and his gf

we just had a simple dinner at new york new york.. the food was OK.. and the service was NOT ok.. seriously.. i think they need to retrain their staff.. i'm annoyed.. i think steven was more annoyed.. haha..

yesterday.. it my last gathering with meli.. grace and janelle till i come home.. I'M GOING TO MISS YOU ALL LIKE HELL..

so i cooked jap food for them and we spent some quality time at my place talking... okie.. see what nice food janelle and i prepared?? ok.. she was quite pissed at my quest for perfection cause she says its all going to be eaten anyway!! we had salmon sashimi.. rice balls.. seaweed with sesame oil.. tuna mayo maki and egg cucumber and pink fish floss maki... unagi.. and miso soup with kelp and tofu.. HUNGRY??
half way through.. Dr Lim just popped his head through my front door... haha.. and grace thought he was a thief.. it was really nice just to sit down and chat and watch tv together.. and we laughed so hard when meli told us about jia jun's friends hobby.. ahahaha.. its damn funny...

and Dr lim still can't understand how i can be together with darling.. diff class.. diff group of friends.. we didn't even talk to each other before attachment.. haha. i oso think if not for attachment and extension of work alot of things would be different now... but i'm so much happier now.. thank you.. here is meli with a rice ball!!

it was just good to cook for them and talk... seriously. i can't remember much of what was said.. we just sat down and talked over tv.. so laid back and relaxed.. the Jinshun show and the new 9pm show on channel 8 (the army show that i mentioned before..) sometimes i wonder if we can ever spend time like that again in 5 years or more??

but after the show it was time to go.. hugs.. (except DR LIM..) i really wanted to tear.. i guess when its time to go.. we must move on.. now i seem to cherish every single thing here.. just spending 3 to 4 hours with my besties was so common during school days.. but now.. we have to take time off other commitments such as work and other friends/bfs to meet up.. i guess when you are about to lose things you begin to feel how much you treasure them... i will never forget you all!! i'll be home soon!! its another 2 days till i'm off...

anyway.. just some updates... saturday was on of the days which i was gloomy and happy at the same time.. weird.. Farzana and i went blading in the day.. we took 196 from bedok.. its a unique bus...

well i have to confess that since i'm leaving in days you can count with ONE hand.. i seem to treasure the little things of Singapore.. though sometimes i hate the people and the infestation of China-rians.. its still my little RED dot...
i've never seen the facing seats at the back.. its so cute...

after not having classes at TP for very long.. going back to school makes a big difference.. seeing all the teachers in a different light.. moving on to my next phase in a week's time..

i went back to school to catch up with who else but my TP buddies.. FATIMAH... JIA YING JIE AND FUNG KOR.. haha. its just great..

and we went to the book shop to get our stash of snacks.. sweets and etc.. haha.. no wonder we all put on weight in school

and i met ryan at mensa canteen too... missed him so much.. and he is still as fit as ever.. then we went to applied science school to look around and find some teachers... Dr Jason Chang is back teaching.. i guess he had enough of research for the time being.. and after he had enough of being lame and cheeky.. we went for tea at the science canteen.. Flavours.. fatimah bought like $10 worth of cakes for her mother.. so filial of her.. haha..this is ORANGE kor with: an orange bag with an orange toy.. orange watch (jia ying's).. orange mentos sweets... orange handphone pouch... orange converse shirt and orange sneakers (can't be seen)one of the sweets melted together after cracking... and we threw it away.. how interesting!!! our random stash of goodies.. most of them are finished by the time i decided to take this pic..

(he said i lost weight.. ahaha.. ) but nigel our facility cat was no longer there.. i guess it was some conflict about the facility not being an animal shelter thats why Dr Jomer gave nigel to his friend.. I MISS THAT NAUGHTY ANNOYING CAT!!
